- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 cup water
- 12 large Romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
- Cook and stir ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain and discard grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Rinse and pat dry the Romaine lettuce leaves.
- Spoon seasoned turkey mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf.
- Top with shredded Cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, red onion, salsa, and sour cream.
- Serve immediately, using the lettuce leaves as taco shells.
